Know When The Subfloor Is Dry Enough

Most plywood subfloors need to hit a moisture content between 12% and 15% before you put new flooring down, though you should double-check your flooring manufacturer’s specs. Compare your readings to a dry spot elsewhere as a reference. Don’t rush this part. Drying can take anywhere from two to seven days, depending on how soaked the plywood was.
